SEED TO SCENE, DARK ROOM, COVENT GARDEN INSTALLATION, LONDON

Located in a derelict warehouse in London, the installation encouraged artists from different creative industries to gather, collaborate and perform. The structure is an ambiguous space where boundaries are blurred encouraging unexpected encounters where different ideas can fuse.. The installation design was inspired by the performance and characteristics of seeds in nature. The material used were off cuts from a local timber mill (slab wood) that would have been burned or sold for  fire firewood. The installation gave life to a material that would have been discarded.

The project was in collaboration with Architectural Association Interprofessional Studio working with different artist, contemporary dance artists, soundscape artists and fashion designer.
