LIGHT ROOM, COVENT GARDEN INSTALLATION, LONDON

The installation is a space for gathering where guests can relax and collaborate. The proposal is to create a canopy where people can gather where depth, dimension and sound are ambiguous. The installation design is inspired by the performance and characteristics of seeds in nature. The material is from a salvaged left over fabric and plywood from a student workshop CNC’d into hexagonal frame unit to create the canopy. The left over solid was then used as furniture for the bar, table and stool. The project is in collaboration with different artists, painter, jewellery designer, soundscape artist and the Architectural Association Interprofessional Studio.
